This tour takes guests on a journey through the turbulent history of Munich, which has been closely linked with beer and its history for many centuries. Accompanied by the Münchener Kindl as a female narrator, visitors travel from the founding of the city in the 12th century to the present day. Afterwards, they climb to unaccustomed heights and get to know Munich from above. Finally, a beer tasting in the cozy atmosphere of a brewery with famous Munich beers is the grand finale.

At Station 1, after a brief introduction, the guests climb into barrels, which will hold them in place for the journey through time that is about to begin. The VR glasses let them travel through more than 700 years of Munich city history.

At station 2 it’s off to the peacock gondolas for the guests, in which they ascend to lofty heights via VR glasses. The Münchener Kindl shows them its present-day Munich from the bird’s eye view.

At station 3 after so many new perspectives and interesting information, the tour ends with a visit of the beer hall of the Senseum. In the cozy cellar room, in the style of a Munich brewery, the guests are now allowed to experience the taste of Munich. A small beer tasting introduces different types of Munich beers, leads through the variety of tastes and thus forms a convivial conclusion to the experience. Of course, there is also a non-alcoholic variant.

Here, modern virtual reality technology is combined with the traditional art of brewing beer. In this way, we enable you to get to know typical Munich within a very short time.

Guests who wear glasses can comfortably pull the VR glasses over their normal glasses. Varifocals should be removed for the trip or replaced with single-vision glasses. If your glasses are too big, we recommend wearing contact lenses.
The concept of TimeRide relies heavily on visual and auditory impressions. With appropriate impairments, the overall experience of your time travel will likely be diminished.
