Decorate your own unique keepsake of Venice at a Carnival mask-making workshop with an experienced instructor. Learn about the ancient techniques of decorating masks with paper mâché. Choose a mask to be decorated during the course. Learn how to decorate your own mask in a fun and entertaining way with the help of a professional and artisan mask decorator. Listen to interesting facts about the use of masks in Venice during previous centuries as you craft your own. Take home your own colorful creation as a very special souvenir.

Carnival Mask Workshop with Diploma Meet at the Venetian mask shop located on San Marco # 596. The laboratory is located a few minutes walk from Saint Mark’s Square. Once by the Bell Tower, go straight on leaving the Basilica on your right and pass under the Clock Tower. Proceed straight on to the end of “Mercerie dell’Orologio”. Then turn right into “Campo San Zulian” and facing the Church pass its façade on the left and you have reached “Campiello San Zulian”. The laboratory is in the opposite corner on your right.

Carnival Mask Workshop in French Meet at Prison Palace, close to St Mark's Square. To get to the Prisons Palace, cross the bridge on the right-hand side of the entrance of the Doge's Palace. Please be at the meeting point 5 minutes before the departure time.
